Free Helpdesk Support Service Now Available!

Even the best educators need to phone a friend sometimes. Here at AAEE NSW, we know it can be hard to know where to go to get advice, support or a sounding board for your ideas or project roadblocks.

That’s why we’ve set up our free, helpdesk support service for environmental and sustainability educators in New South Wales.

Here are three ways you can seek advice and support when developing and implementing your environmental education projects:

1. Contact us – submit your question or program dilemma through our contact form and you will receive a response from one of our experienced environmental and sustainability education practitioners

2. Chat with us – every two months we’ll be running a 1-hour, online web chat where any environmental educator in NSW is welcome to dial in and seek advice or input from the range of educators present. These web chats aren’t about us being the expert – we’ll be seeking ideas and feedback from all educators present to form a community of practice where we can all learn from each other.

There is no need to register for these sessions – just log in using the meeting link below at the time of the meeting. If you have a particular question or issue for discussion however, it’d be a great help if you could contact us beforehand to outline your question/issue so we can have a think about it before we begin.

These online chats will be held using Zoom. If you’ve used Zoom before just click on the meeting link below at the right time. If you haven’t used Zoom, make time before the chat starts to install and test the free software and audio connection on your computer.

Details for our 2019 web chats are:

3. Connect with others – Join your local Regional Sustainability Educators Network or an online group like Sustainability Educators Yahoo group to connect with other educators and share ideas, learnings, wins and frustrations.
