In the lead up to our 2018 AGM on 4 October 2018, we are seeking nominations from passionate AAEE NSW members to join our NSW Executive Committee in 2018/2019.
Volunteering on the NSW Executive is a great opportunity to contribute to the health and vibrancy of our NSW chapter, gain an insight into the workings of your professional association and help us deliver projects and programs to achieve our 2018-2021 Strategic Plan.
Lots of exciting things are coming up in 2019 for AAEE NSW including:
- our 2019 biennial conference in partnership with Sutherland EEC
- delivery of our next big grant project “Best Practice Sustainability Education & Engagement for NSW“
- next steps for our revamp of Sustainable Schools NSW, and more!
Executive meetings are web-based (using Zoom web conferencing) and regionally-based members are encouraged to apply. Currently in 2017/18, Executive meetings occur every 2 months and are 2 hours in duration.
The work of the Executive is supported by a part-time, contracted NSW Project Officer and specific project work is undertaken by other contractors.
