Local Government plays a crucial role in environmental education and engagement. Almost 30% of our NSW members work in local government and play a key part in engaging individuals and communities across NSW in sustainability education projects and programs.
In 2020 we undertook a broad-scale survey of local government staff to find out what their needs are and how AAEE NSW can better support and resource them for this work.
As a result of this survey, we have developed the AAEE NSW Local Government Strategic Action Plan 2020-23.
