Guide to Planning a Best Practice Sustainability Education and Engagement Project
This is a resource for environmental educators from all sectors including community, non-profit organisations, state and local government, formal education, business and industry.
It has been created as part of the AAEE NSW ‘Equipping Regional Sustainability Education Networks for Creating Change’ Project 2016-2018, with support from the NSW Government's Environmental Trust.

Strategic Plan Template for Regional Sustainability Education Networks
This template was developed to assist Regional Sustainability Education Networks to create their own individual Strategic Plans. It may also be helpful for other environmental education networks, such as school/teacher environmental networks.
It has been created as part of the AAEE NSW ‘Equipping Regional Sustainability Education Networks for Creating Change’ Project 2016-2018, with support from the NSW Government's Environmental Trust.

Conversations  e-magazine
Conversations is the e-magazine of AAEE NSW.  All issues are available in full for our members and are distributed by email twice a year. 

We encourage submissions from environmental educators, teachers, and teacher educators that address environmental education broadly, as well as the teaching and learning of it in schools, tertiary institutions and/or community contexts. Articles for consideration should be sent in electronic format to the Editor, at  

AAEE NSW Membership survey
Our membership survey was conducted at the end of 2015 to better understand the needs and expectations of NSW-based environmental educators. It includes a series of recommendations for improvement.

'Write It Up' Guide - sharing our experiences
Write it Up! is a resource developed by AAEE to encourage sustainability education practitioners to share their experiences through writing. As part of Write it Up! a series of case studies were produced by NSW educators to showcase their sustainability education projects. You are welcome to use the Write it Up! materials - including the course materials and case studies  - providing you acknowledge AAEE NSW and the developers  of the program *

This amazing new resource developed by Central Coast Council in NSW for pre-schoolers, primary school students and educators is full of beautiful images, activities, videos and songs. The content supports the NSW Syllabus for the Australian Curriculum and the Early Years Learning Framework. Eucalypt Forests Multi-touch Book for iPhone and iPads
This exciting Multi-Touch book developed by the Field of Mars Environmental Education Centre in NSW explores the beautiful natural environment of the Australian eucalypt forest. Containing a suite of interactive activities, videos and beautiful images, this book is designed to support the NSW Syllabus for the Australian Curriculum Geography and Science & Technology K-6. Behaviour Change and Sustainability
Waverly Council in NSW have compiled an E-booklet on behaviour change approaches for environmental community groups. Creating behaviour change can be hard and there is no ‘one solution fits all’ approach. Their E-booklet might be handy when designing programs with a behaviour change component.
